Hi Everyone!

Hope you all had a great week.

So last week for fast Sunday, one of the things that I fasted for was to get some work going here in Veszprém. Sister Smith fasted for that also (although neither of us had talked about it beforehand). But, our fasts seemed to work! On Tuesday, we were out tracting. We were going to try and get into this one building but we ended up passing it and going to the next building. Luckily, the door was open so we were able to just go right in. Sadly, no luck though haha. But we were walking back to the building that we were going to do before. We went to the doorbell box thing (the csengő box for the Hungarian speakers ;)). We were about to start ringing doors but this girl comes to the front and opens the door to let us in. We thank her and she tells us she doesn't live there but she was just waiting for someone. We started talking to her and she told us that she used to meet with the missionaries but was just on a little break right now. We got her phone number and set up to meet with her that week. So on Saturday we met with her. She wanted to show us her favorite verses in the Book of Mormon. We got to know her a little and aksed her if she had ever talked to the missionaries about baptism. She said that she had prayed about it but didn't feel like she had received a clear answer. So we asked her to pray about it again and she said she would! She also came to church yesterday and really enjoyed it! Hopefully things will continue to go well with her. It was definitely not a coincidence that we ran into her in a random building that she didn't even live in. Fasting totally works! :)

Oliver
Oliver is the cool kid we met playing soccer a few weeks ago! He has become our little buddy and comes to like everything! His friends don't really come on Saturday nights to Sport Nap anymore because school has started. But he is always there without a doubt. And he has started coming to our English Class too and last week after English Class he stayed and watched a fireside that was being broadcasted from Pest. He also came to Game Night this week. He came about 20 minutes early so we were just hanging out a little before everyone else showed up. We ended up giving him a Book of Mormon! He told us his mom has seen us at the grocery store where we go shopping. We have tried to go back and find her a couple times but she has never been working when we've gone. Would be so cool to be able to teach all of them!

Well those are the cool little miracles for the week! Can't believe how close to the end I am getting.
